Imagine curating a bath where your senses are ignited: heated water is transformed into liquid silk against your skin once our bath soak is dispersed, the aroma of essential oils lingering throughout the air to calm your mood and shift your energy, while the tension and stresses of the day melt away from your muscles.
While living abroad in the United Arab Emirates, our founder rediscovered her love for the ritual of bathing. Being in a slower paced society allowed her to tap into a higher level of self-care and mental clarity she lacked while working as a Nurse in the United States. Away from her chaotic lifestyle, our founder was able to cultivate a lifestyle where she observed other cultures and attitudes around uses of aromatherapy and realignment to honor the human body.
Shelvia Stewart decided to explore authentic raw ingredients that could be incorporated into custom products that would seek to fill a void in the health and beauty sector of the market. While abroad she used her knowledge of anatomy and physiology to source an atelier with many of the world’s finest clay powders, minerals, essential oils, and salt variations; this culmination of clean ingredients forged with the ‘Nursing Process’ is our core value which encourages homeostasis.
Homeostasis is defined as: A state of balance among all the body systems needed for the body to survive and function correctly.
While in research and development phase, Shelvia formulated products with consideration to people who suffer medical ailments and disorders that need more than the standard bathing products. With this in mind, The Denine Company was launched to assist the human body’s restoration from: limited range of motion, muscle stiffness, pain and discomfort, assistance with swelling in the ankles and feet, skin eruptions associated with lupus, extreme forms of folliculitis (hidradenitis suppurativa), and altered circulation.
As a result of the global pandemic, all bath soaks were reformulated to encourage full chest expansion, improvement of inhalation and exhalation, and assistance with productive and non-productive coughing due to ‘long haulers’ syndrome from Covid-19 infections.
